Massage Therapy Licensing Information
All graduation requirements (including the 99b exit meeting) must be completed the enrollment end date. There will be a reminder email sent 1 month before the enrollment end date, inviting students to appeal if they need an extension. Those without an extension who haven’t completed all academic requirements will be dropped from the program and must re-enroll to complete the requirements. Attended 449:45 classroom hours (minus grace period tardies)

Achieve an overall passing grade in all subjects

Passed all Touch Assessments, Practical Exams, and Spot Checks

Completed 50 hours of Internship (Don’t forget to close-out!)

Completed 6 hours community service

Paid all non-tuition fees (make-up fees, tutorials, etc.)

Tuition paid in full OR good standing with TFC Payment Plan

Massage Therapy License Application Checklist
If your education verification request shows up in our FSMTB portal, we will verify your education, provided you are past class #70. Verification will be within 5 business days from submitting your application to FSMTB. If you haven’t yet graduated, please keep in mind that TDLR may not accept your score if you take it early, so schedule accordingly.
TDLR requires that they authorize your eligibility to take the MBLEx. Per TDLR, eligibility must be obtained by completing the Massage Therapy License Application which can only be done after completing all 500 hours of the program.
