The purpose of this course is to familiarize students to a deeper level of understanding of Plantar fasciitis. The students will learn to utilize critical thinking skills to assess the clients’ movements. Additionally, muscles and specific areas presenting pain will be taught along with techniques to alleviate pain. Students will learn how to use muscle testing to understand what may or may not be a problem and create a session plan that will address their assessment findings.

1. Assess client movements
2. Assess which muscles are causing pain and need work to alleviate it
3. Learn how to perform muscle testing to understand what may or may not be a problem
4. Gain knowledge of contributions and traditional treatments for Plantar Fasciitis
5. Show client self-care, stretching, and strengthening related to their Plantar Fasciitis
6. Be able to create a session plan with clients that will address their assessment findings
